About Our Company

We are a family-owned and operated company that cares about community, customer service, and responsible waste management.  Growing up in the islands reminds us every day that our island communities and our economy is highly unique, unlike any other location in the world. Cultural traditions and practices that are found nowhere else allow us to incorporate these values into our business model.
In the future, we would like to provide internships and utilize site tours to educate and show our lāhui and malihini first-hand how we can all do our part today to provide a sustainable future for generations to come.
 
Hawai’i is a great place to live and raise a family, or just visit and enjoy, but along with that comes responsibility, which in turn provides numerous opportunities to educate about sustainability and true servant duties for our lāhui (community) and our ‘aina (land) for generations to come.  We must mālama our ‘aina (take care of our lands) and that’s how Waste Pro Hawai’i and Mālama ‘Āina Recycling Center was born.
